Website design questions
Can Fellowship Studios handle everything website-related so I don't have to juggle multiple providers?
Yes. A lot of clients opt to have all core website components handled exclusively by Fellowhip Studios. This means no juggling services from multiple providers. Just one annual invoice per year which covers all the bases.
What's the difference between website design and website hosting?
Website design pertains to how your site looks and works — the visual design, layout, and functionality.
Website hosting is the part which makes your site accessible online.
Without hosting, people won’t be able to access your website online. Without a website design, visitors to your site would be greeted by a white wall of nothing.
What happens after my website launches? Can you help with ongoing updates and support?
Absolutely! Fellowship Studios is here for the long haul.
For general content edits, new pages, feature additions, etc — just get in touch for a quote.
Hosting clients: Subscribing to the website Maintenance Plan add-on is highly recommended, as it provides the peace of mind of knowing that Fellowship Studios will be handling your site’s critical security updates each month.
If you’d rather not subscribe to the maintenance plan — no worries. You’ll have admin access to your site and security updates will be your responsibility.
Could my website be integrated with third-party apps or services like CRMs, email marketing platform, payment processors, etc?
Oh yes! It’s very common for E-commerce websites, especially, to have payment processors like Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay and more integrated and handling customer payments.
For CRMs, popular integrations include: monday.com, Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot CRM, and Zoho CRM.
There’s a lot of email marketing platforms out there, and they’re all pretty similar and relatively straightforward when it comes to integrating with your website. Common integration choices include Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Brevo, and Klaviyo.
Do you work with clients in other countries, or just in the UK and USA?
Absolutely! Fellowship Studios is a 100% remote operation. Location isn’t a barrier at all. Clients across the world trust us with their website design and hosting needs.
Website hosting questions
Website hosting is a critical part of your website’s operation. Website design handles the look and feel of the website, and website hosting allows your website to occupy digital space and be accessible to visitors.
We’re very transparent about our (excellent) hosting services. Our cloud servers are sourced from top tier providers such as DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode. We don’t resell overcrowded shared hosting — your website is situated on a superfast, reliable cloud server that grows with your site.
We also use top tier server management tools such as GridPane, xCloud and more, to monitor your website’s performance, schedule website backups to the cloud, and keep on top of critical server security updates.
If you or people in your organisation have experience with managing a self-hosted WordPress installation, then you may be fine without subscribing to the Maintenance Plan.
Other than that, the Maintenance Plan is almost always a good idea for most clients.
In virtually all cases: Yes.
The additional good news is that, even if your website unable to be transferred over, we are able to design a close imitation of the site. This is also a great opportunity to make improvements to any aspects of your previous site that were previously lacking.
We’ll discuss options for upgrading your server hardware to support your website’s growth.
When you’re happy to upgrade your server, we’ll schedule the upgrade for a time where your traffic is at its quietest, and perform the work with minimal disruption to your website and traffic.
Website SEO questions
Most clients start seeing initial improvements within 3-6 months, with more significant results typically appearing after 6-12 months.
SEO is a marathon, not a sprint – search engines need time to crawl, index, and assess where to rank your updated pages.
The timeline can vary depending on your industry’s competitiveness and your website’s starting point.
Yes, SEO works for virtually any brand with an online presence – from local charities and churches to e-commerce shops and professional services.
If people are searching for what you offer, good SEO can help them find you. The key is having realistic expectations and a long-term approach.
Paid advertising (like Google Ads) gives you immediate visibility but basically stops working and benefitting you the moment you stop paying.
SEO takes longer to build up but typically provides longer-lasting results. Though Google does occasionally throw a curveball with its ranking algorythym updates.
With SEO, you’re building an asset that keeps working for you over time. Many successful brands use both together, but SEO offers better long-term value and higher trust from users who prefer organic search results.
We stick strictly to Google’s guidelines and focus on creating genuine value for your visitors.
Our approach centres on proper on-page optimisation – improving your content quality, website structure, and technical elements the right way. No dodgy link schemes, keyword stuffing, or shortcuts that might work temporarily but risk penalties later.
It’s about building sustainable, long-term growth that search engines and your audience will appreciate.
Absolutely. Sometimes an old website, or a website built by a different company can benefit greatly by some relatively simple on-page elements refinements. It’s possible to see improvements by revamping existing content, updating page titles, fixing technical issues and generally revising the site structure.
There’s usually no need to start entirely from scratch; we’ll audit what you have and focus on the improvements that will make the biggest difference to your search rankings.
Brand identity questions
Do you offer part brand design services such as logo design-only or just business card templates?
Ah, so a bit like a mini brand identity design? 😆
Of course! If you’re only needing a few brand identity elements such as a unique logo design, or a typography package, or stationary templates — that’s very doable.
How many revisions do you offer?
We typically receive orders for either a full brand identity design or just a logo and logomark design. For both of these options, you’ll be eiligible for up to three revisions.
For full brand identity designs, drafts of your assets such as logo, typography, colour palette, etc are all delivered together, so you’re able to request revisions for all items and only use one revision credit.
How will you transfer the assets?
All deliverables are securely shared via a private Google Drive or Dropbox folder, where you will be able to review the assets individually, or download the full set in a compressed zip file.
Can you create a bespoke brand identity design and matching website as a package?
100% yes — in fact, you’ll receive a discount for booking both services at the same time!
Can you make the logo bigger? 😂
Oh, yes! Easily! Your logo will be delivered to you in vectorised PDF format, which is infinitely scalable and perfectly suited for print work.
